We’ve Moved – And We’re Loving Our New Home at 4 South Street, Wilton!

It has now been a few months since Happybara moved to our new home at 4 South Street, Wilton, and we wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us during this exciting new chapter.

Moving an independent business is always a little daunting, but thanks to our wonderful customers – both old and new – our new space is already beginning to feel like home.

A New Space, Same Happybara Welcome

One of the loveliest things since moving has been hearing your feedback. So many of our regular customers have told us how much they enjoy our new premises, commenting on how bright, spacious and welcoming it feels.

We’ve also been delighted to meet lots of new shoppers who have discovered Happybara for the very first time. Whether you’ve been visiting us since day one or have only recently found us, we’re so grateful that you’ve chosen to support our small independent business.

Making the Most of Our Garden Space

One of the biggest joys of our move has been being able to open our beautiful garden space for customers to enjoy.

Visitors can now relax with a takeaway tea, coffee or hot chocolate while enjoying a peaceful moment outdoors. On sunny days, the garden has become a little oasis in the heart of Wilton – somewhere to pause, chat with friends or simply take a break from busy everyday life.

New Events and New Opportunities

Our new premises have also allowed us to begin hosting events – something we’ve wanted to do for a long time.

Earlier this year we held our very first Cheese and Wine Evening, bringing together customers for an evening of great conversation, delicious food and carefully selected wines. It was wonderful to see the space filled with laughter and community spirit, and we’re already looking forward to hosting more events in the future.

Supporting Our Young People

As many of you know, Happybara is much more than a shop. We are a social enterprise dedicated to creating meaningful work experience opportunities for autistic and neurodivergent young adults.

Recently, our new space hosted its very first social event for our work experience colleagues. Seeing current and past participants come together to enjoy pizza, games and friendship was incredibly special and reminded us exactly why we started Happybara.

Creating opportunities for young people to build confidence, friendships and workplace skills remains at the heart of everything we do.

Looking Ahead

Overall, we’re making the most of every corner of our new home at 4 South Street, Wilton and are excited about everything still to come.

From shopping and coffee to events, training and community gatherings, this space is already helping us grow Happybara in ways we only dreamed of.
