A Joyful June – And a Happybara Thank You!
Summer Solstice has happened meaning we are officially in Summer and heading towards the end of June! Half way through the year already and we are reflecting on how much has happened so far - and how grateful we are to everyone who has been part of it. Spring has been a total Joy at Happybara with the sunshine, celebrating our one-year anniversary of opening the shop in April, Finding out we were Winners of Muddy Stiletto Best Lifestyle Store in Wiltshire in May & officially receiving our award in June. This was a very proud moment for us as a very small team and a great feeling to know we have so much support from the local community - and beyond!
June has also brough a brand new Window display of our summer "Under the Sea" theme in support of the Wilton Carnival on July 5th. We love hearing people pick out the fish and sea creatures as they pass, its exactly why we love decorating our windows .
But June isn't just about celebrations there's also been busy behind the scenes curating our summer home and gift collection, and also introducing new work experience people in the store . We Absolutely love supporting our amazing work experience colleagues and watching them grow in confidence thanks to the joyful nature of the store. We now have a number of young autistic people waiting to join our team through our social enterprise , and we've got plans to do something new in July to expand our offer and support to more people (watch this space for more news on this!!!
For now though, we want to say a big heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us - whether you pop into the shop for cards, gifts or fashion, or shop online, or like and share our posts so others can find us -we have launched our Happybara Summer Thank you. All this week until 28yh June everyone who spends over £50 will receive a £10 gift voucher from us to spend next time you shop or to gift to someone and share the joy.
Its our little way of giving back and showing appreciation to old and new customers without which we couldn't do what we love! So as we look forward to the rest of summer, hopefully with many sunny days, celebrations, new projects and exciting opportunities to come - We just want to say a massive THANK YOU.
